Have you ever wondered, does anybody really see me? Our social media-obsessed society is proof that people everywhere long to be seen. But in a world vying for the attention of others, so many of us are left feeling overlooked. In this study based on my book Overlooked: Finding You’re Worth When You Feel All Alone, we’ll develop a deeper understanding of God as El Roi, the God Who Sees. We’ll study the stories of Hagar,Have you ever wondered, does anybody really see me? Our social media-obsessed society is proof that people everywhere long to be seen. But in a world vying for the attention of others, so many of us are left feeling overlooked. In this study based on my book Overlooked: Finding You’re Worth When You Feel All Alone, we’ll develop a deeper understanding of God as El Roi, the God Who Sees. We’ll study the stories of Hagar, Moses, Paul, and Jesus and discover the transformative power of living each day in the attention of a holy God. We’ll learn practical ways to implement a lifestyle of living seen by God characterized by confidence, meekness, obedience, and a Gospel perspective. We’ll have fun, get real with each other, and discover the beautiful depth of God’s word together. Can’t wait to see you there!
