Coming for the first time? Wondering what to expect, where to take your children, where to park?
No problem! We are excited to welcome you and your family as our guests at New Hope! We hope the following information will answer some of your questions but if you have others, just contact us at 770.460.4826 or email@example.com for our North campus at 551 New Hope Road in Fayetteville. For South Campus, which is located at 1563 Hwy. 74 South, Senoia, contact us at 678.827.7839 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parking: At North campus, for those families that have a child, or more than one, from kindergarten and below, the parking lot right off Neely Road is nearest the preschool rooms. At South campus, park in the lot nearest the circle and come in through the covered drive-through entrance.
Check-in: We have computer check-in and some really nice folks to help you with it. Just come on in and we will not only check-in your child but help you find exactly where to go.
Preschool Sunday School Classes: We follow the school year system of age-grading classes beginning with our Twos so that if a child turned 2 on or before Sept. 1, 2011, that child will be in the Twos class, 3 on or before 9/1/11, that child will be in the Threes class, and so on.
Safety, Security, and Hygiene: Our teachers and worship volunteers have annual background checks, we have 2 teachers in each room and we use a security system which means only you or your designated person (must be at least 15 years old) can pick up your child. Every room has age-appropriate furniture, toys, books, puzzles, and other equipment. We stress hand-washing for the children and the teachers and use appropriate cleaners and disinfectants regularly.
Pagers: We have pagers available upon request for parents or you can just leave your cell number with us.
Worship: God makes babies-kindergarten especially curious and very active because those are two ways that help them to learn. We ask that all younger children be placed in the environment that is best for them to learn and enjoy by bringing them to the Preschool area. Parents, this allows you to have some uninterrupted time to relax and worship and hear the Word.
What should you bring from home? Babies and ones need extra diapers, a change of clothes in case of accidents, bottles for feeding or sippy cups if off the bottle, finger snacks, pacifier and that special comfort item, if needed. Please label all items with your child’s name. Twos need sippy cups, and a change of clothes in case of accidents. Please remember to put your child’s name on all bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, etc. Threes, Fours, Fives, and Kindergartners need only bring themselves although a change of clothes for Threes in case of accidents can be a good thing. We ask that children older than two do not bring toys, dolls, or special “comfort” items. Other children will want to play with them and the items could get broken or soiled. If they want to bring them from home, just tell them they have to leave them in your car trunk for safekeeping.
